# How much does Padder Guarantor cost?

## Padder Guarantor is priced per lease, not per person. For most leases, the one-time premium typically falls between:

**30% – 130% of one month’s base rent**

Examples (just to give you a feel):

- $2,000/month rent → Padder Guarantor might range from **$600 to $2,600** (one-time)
- $2,500/month rent → Padder Guarantor might range from **$750 to $3,250** (one-time)

The exact amount depends on your situation and the property. You’ll always see your specific quote before you decide to move forward.

#### **Why it's a one-time premium**

Padder Guarantor is an insurance product, not a deposit or fee the landlord controls.

That means:

- You pay one premium up front to secure coverage for the full policy term (up to 36 months).
- It is refunded in full if you cancel before your lease is signed. Once your lease is signed the policy cannot be cancelled and the premium is not returned.

Behind the scenes, that one-time premium is what allows Padder to:

- Take on the risk of unpaid rent and certain lease defaults for your landlord.
