About Padder
Padder is a Canadian company building tools that support lease approvals and help operators manage rental risk. Padder is a licensed insurance agency in Ontario.
Padder supports three core audiences across residential and commercial leasing:
- Tenants/Renters: options that may reduce friction during lease approval (where applicable).
- Landlords/Operators: tools that support more consistent leasing decisions and rent-risk management.
- Partners: referral pathways and enablement for brokers, realtors, immigration services, and other businesses or service providers that support tenants with finding and securing housing (where applicable).
Important: Padder programs are optional and should not be presented as a condition of a lease. Tenants remain responsible for meeting their lease obligations, including paying rent.
