Is Padder an Insurance Company?
Padder is a licensed insurance agency in Ontario. Padder supports multiple offerings, and the structure depends on the program:
- Insurance-based offerings: coverage is provided under a policy issued by a licensed insurer. The insurer is responsible for paying eligible claims, subject to policy terms, limits, and exclusions.
- Warranty-based offerings (services agreement): the warranty does not constitute insurance. Warranty payouts are governed by the services agreement, subject to its terms and limits.
