Quotes, Cancellation, and Refunds (High-Level)
Pricing, cancellation, and refunds depend on the program and the governing documents (policy or services agreement). This page provides a high-level overview. Your policy documents or services agreement are the source of truth.
Quotes vs premiums vs fees
We use the term quote as an umbrella term across Padder programs.
- For insurance-based programs, the quote reflects the premium.
- For warranty/service-based programs, the quote reflects the fee.
Padder does not provide individualized pricing rationale beyond what is required to administer the program.
Padder Guarantor + Padder Deposit (Residential | Insurance)
Cancellation: Coverage is non-cancellable once the lease is signed and the policy is issued. Limited cancellation may apply only in specific circumstances (for example, if no lease was signed and possession was not taken), subject to landlord verification and the applicable policy terms.
Refunds: Premiums are generally non-refundable once the policy is issued and the lease is signed, subject to the applicable policy terms.
Padder Lease Protection (Commercial | Services agreement + warranty)
Cancellation: Terminable under the landlord services agreement. Written notice is required in accordance with the agreement terms.
Refunds: Fees are generally non-refundable once activated or services have been delivered, subject to the services agreement terms.
How to request cancellation or a refund review
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@padder.com.
Refunds (if applicable under policy or agreement terms) are processed only after written review and confirmation.
