Does Padder cover damage to the unit or only unpaid rent?
Padder Guarantor covers rental income loss—not physical damage.
Padder Guarantor provides up to 12 months of rent protection if a tenant defaults on their lease obligations — financial or non-financial — during the first 36 months of the lease (subject to policy terms).
Padder protects you against:
- Missed Rent: Unpaid rent during default
- Early Lease Breaks: Rent loss if a tenant ends the lease early
- Vacancy Loss: Rent loss while re-leasing the unit
- Failure to Move In: If the tenant never takes possession
