How Will I Be Notified if My Landlord Submits a Reimbursement Request?
Before a landlord can submit a reimbursement request, they must notify Padder of the tenant's rent payment default. During this time, Padder will work with both parties to explore repayment options.
If no resolution is reached, the landlord may proceed with remedial actions and/or submit an Initial Reimbursement Request.
When a reimbursement request is submitted, Padder will notify the tenant via email. Since Padder’s process involves communication with both the landlord and tenant, a reimbursement request submission should not come as a surprise.
