Invite link opens but your application isn't showing?
If you're already signed in to Padder, the invite link can skip the co-tenant step — here's the fix.
If you've opened your co-tenant invite link but land on a page with no application, the most common cause is that you're already signed in to Padder from a previous visit. When that happens, the link skips the invite step and takes you to your existing dashboard, so the new application doesn't appear.
To fix it:
- Sign out of Padder, then click the link in your invitation email again — or open the invite link in a private/incognito window, which does the same thing.
- Sign up or log in using the exact email address the invite was sent to. That's what connects your account to the household application.
- Don't start a new application from the Padder homepage — a separate application won't be linked to your household, so it won't appear alongside your roommate's.
If that doesn't work:
- "Invitation already used" — the link may have been clicked already, or accepted on another device.
- Invite expired — we will need to re-send it. Please email support@padder.com to request a new invitation be sent.
Once you're in, you'll complete your own short application. Padder reviews the household together once everyone has submitted, and we'll email you if anything else is needed.
