Who can use Padder Deposit?

Padder Deposit is only available in Padder-partnered buildings. If the property you’re interested in isn’t yet partnered, let us know — we’d be happy to connect with the landlord or property manager to make it available.

Available where the building is partnered with Padder

You can use Padder Deposit only if:

  • You’re renting in a building that has an active partnership with Padder, and
  • Padder Deposit is accepted at that property by the landlord or property manager.
  • You complete the Padder Deposit application, are approved, and pay the one-time premium.

Even in a Padder-partner building, Padder Deposit is used at the landlord’s discretion. At this time, if your building isn’t partnered with Padder, we can’t issue Padder Deposit for your lease.

When Padder Deposit is not available

Padder Deposit is not available if:

  • The building or landlord is not partnered with Padder.
  • The property is partnered with Padder, but the landlord chooses to collect a traditional LMR deposit instead.
  • The landlord does not accept Padder Deposit for your specific unit or lease type.

If your landlord is not partnered with Padder, refer them to Padder.com, or tell them to email: info@padder.com, our team will help them decide if Padder is the right fit for their properties.
