Will Padder notify me before taking any action on lease default?

Yes — if your landlord reports a lease default to Padder, we’ll always try to contact you first before taking any further action.

Padder may reach out to:

  • Let you know your landlord has reported a default
  • Give you a chance to explain or resolve the missed payment
  • Discuss possible repayment options if needed

Important: Padder does not make decisions about lease enforcement — that stays between you and your landlord and property manager, following local tenancy laws.

If you’re anticipating trouble paying rent, please reach out to your landlord or property manager as soon as possible.
