How to Send Tenant Invitations
Landlords can invite prospective and existing tenants to complete Padder's Lease Coverage application.
Note: These instructions are for landlords who have already set up their account and added the property to their Padder account. For our complete guide on integrating Padder into your leasing process, click HERE.
Steps to Invite Tenants to Apply

Navigate to the "Add Lease" Section:
Log in to your Padder account and go to the "Add Lease" section. -
Enter Lease Details:
- Building & Unit Information:
Select the building and enter the unit number or name. - Lease Details:
Provide the total Sqft, amount per Sqft, maintenance per Sqft, yearly increase per Sqft, free rent (number of months), and prepaid rent (number of months). - Select "Continue."
- Building & Unit Information:

Choose Coverage Options:
- Select the coverage period (excluding prepaid rent, concessions, and security deposits):
- 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months.
- Select "Continue."
- Select the coverage period (excluding prepaid rent, concessions, and security deposits):

Enter Tenant Contact Information:
- Provide the tenant’s email address.
- If there are multiple renters, select "Add Renters +" and enter additional email addresses.
- Select "Continue."

Choose Rent Loss Protection:
- Select the protection duration: 12 months, 24 months, or 36 months.
- Select "Continue."

Copy Your Unique Lease Code:
- Click the clipboard icon to copy your lease code.
- Store this code safely, as it may be required for reimbursement requests.

Return to Dashboard.
Application Processing Time:
Once the tenant submits their completed application, outcome notifications will be sent to both the landlord and tenant within 24 hours.
